The scientific name of Turmeric is Curcuma longa. It is also known as Haldi in Hindi. The nature of Turmeric is hot. It is obtained from the roots of the plant and has a bulb-like structure. In terms of COVID-19, there is no strong data to support its claim that it interferes with the body’s response against the disease.
