  4. Once you are sure about the dip then check the base of the mattress whether it is supporting the mattress or not.
  5. If you notice any bend or bow in the bed then your bed needs to be replaced not the mattress. Unfortunately, this is a rare case but still possible. It doesn’t if you have an iron bed, upholstered bed, or a wooden bed, all of them can bow.
  6. In case the base or bedstead is in a good shape then your mattress needs to be changed.
